Here I am planning a first birthday party again, less than two years since we hosted the first! You know what that means! I’m over here wrestling with two under two! (Send prayers!) If you’re planning a party like me – you quickly do a google search that says FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY THEMES
If you’ve ever planned a first birthday party or any kid party for that matter, you already know what I mean! The budget can go quickly if you’re not careful because everything is so freakin cute!
The parties we hosted for the last two years had different themes: We did UNO for Kairo’s first birthday party theme and we did Taco Twoday for his second birthday party theme, but we had the same activities each time. We’ve found that the soft play setup is the best option for our parties – they bring the mats, ball pit, roller coaster ride etc. and it truly keeps the kids occupied the entire time! In Atlanta, we’ve used Topplin Tots and they’ve been amazing!
So this year, when I had to plan yet another first birthday party, I went on the hunt for cool ideas. And of course, I went hunting on Amazon! So, if you’re an Amazon girlie like me, I’ve included links below!
UNO
In 2022, it was our very first time hosting a first birthday party and we chose the UNO theme! It was perfect for us because we are an UNO loving family! I consider myself to be THE UNO champ LOL. We had UNO decor, card games for the adults, soft play for the kids and had a ton of fun.
I couldn’t find what I needed on Amazon, so I went on over to Etsy!
The Notorious O.N.E
This year, we’re going with a Notorious O.N.E theme – our BIGGIE is getting SMALLS and we’re so excited! The decor is all gold and black, we’re wearing big gold chains, we got matching family tees, and soft play for the kids.
